Thankful Day 8: Words

Where has the day gone? 

I am most thankful for the word of God. I'm thankful that his word is living and active. I'm thankful that his word will not return void. I'm thankful that the Word is God. 

Hebrews 4:12
For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.

Isaiah 5:11
So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
    it shall not return to me void,
but it shall accomplish that which I please, 
    and shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.

John 1:1 
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
